Bostleman's Newest Projects

Davis College Exterior Façade Improvements (Toledo, Ohio)

Bostleman will complete exterior façade improvements to both buildings on the Davis College campus. Work includes creation of a new defined main entry with a new tower element, new exterior surface materials including a combination of EIFS and Metal Panels, new landscape, and improved exterior student courtyard. Construction will take place while classes are in session.

Roman-Peshoff Office Addition and Renovations Project (Holland, Ohio)

This project includes an 1,800 sf office addition and renovations to existing office spaces and parking lot improvements. Construction will take place as the office remains open.

Bostleman Corp. Named 2010 Torch Award Finalist by Better Business Bureau of Northwest Ohio, Southeast Michigan

Bostleman Corp. is pleased to announce that it was recently named a finalist for the Better Business Bureau’s annual Torch Award. The Torch Award is given to businesses who are nominated for the award in recognition of their valuable contributions to marketplace ethics. Torch Award winners are selected in four categories: Small Business, Medium Business, Large Business, and Non-Profit. Bostleman earned the Finalist honor in the Medium Business category during a luncheon held on May 13, 2010, hosted by the Better Business Bureau of Northwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan.

The Torch Award selection criteria included the company’s position statement on ethics, examples of integrity, honesty, reliability and responsiveness, community involvement relating to business integrity and ethics, and any additional information provided that demonstrated that the firm practiced the highest standards of business ethics and integrity in the marketplace. Bostleman Corp. was a Torch Award Winner in 2005.

Bostleman Opens Offices in Charlotte, NC, and Nashville, TN

Bostleman Completes Wood County Hospital Expansion Project


Bostleman is pleased to announce the completion of the Wood County Hospital’s New Bed Tower/Surgery Addition and Renovation project. Bostleman served as the construction manager for the project.

Major improvements in this 115.000 sf expansion project included a new spacious and welcoming first floor offering comfort and convenience. Also on the first floor is a new Women’s Diagnostic center, designated to the prevention, treatment, and health education needs of women. Six new state-of-the-art surgical units were added with specialized rooms for cystoscopy, minor procedures, and two rooms for endoscopy. On the second floor are 56 new private patient rooms, each offering better patient privacy and comfort. With these and many other improvements and amenities, Wood County Hospital’s goal “to better serve the public, whether they are inpatients, outpatients, or visitors” has certainly been achieved.

Bostleman’s project team included Ron Hanna, Senior Project Manager, Aaron Daman, Project Manager, Todd Carman, Senior Project Manager, Preconstruction Services, and Chris Ostrander and Ryan Moungie, both superintendents.

We would also like to thank our subcontractors and suppliers for providing quality services and products which resulted in the successful completion of several projects throughout the year: The Toledo Zoo Nature’s Neighborhood, Wood County Hospital New Bed Tower/Surgery Suite Addition, American Red Cross New Blood Services Center, Kroger Store (Taylor, MI), just to name a few.

We look forward to a bright 2010 as we begin work on the Sylvania City Schools District-Wide Construction Program, Blissfield City Schools District-Wide Construction Program (pending levy passage in February), Maumee Valley Country Day School, as well as continuing our work on the construction programs the for Clyde-Green Springs and Lakota Local School Districts.
